Michael Larkin’s writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Missouri Review, Arroyo Literary Review, Cimarron Review, Kitchen Sink, and Other Voices, among others. His work has been nominated for Pushcart Prizes and been featured as “Notable Reading” in The Best American Nonrequired Reading Series.
He’s currently at work on a novel that’s set alternately in the San Francisco Bay Area at the dawn of the Web 2.0 era and in Berkeley during the Free Speech Movement of the 1960s.
He earned his MFA in fiction writing from the University of Pittsburgh and his BA from UC Berkeley, where he currently teaches composition, creative writing, and Astrophysics for Fakers.*
